Multidisciplinary Inspiration

With so many great categories of design, it is hard to just focus on one. Which is why this blog will focus on a little bit of everything: architecture, furniture, product design, illustration, various artists, etc. Curated by Brian Everett of EVRT Studio in Kansas City

5 Cuts by Laser Bread
I ran into Laser Bread’s Flickr account yesterday, through the ‘Make Something Cool Everyday’ group. This guy’s portfolio is amazing. I had seen some of his work before, but never looked through all of his stuff. I don’t know if I have seen many, if any other people with this volume of work, in lots of different mediums and variety, AND every single piece is awesome. Seriously, you need to look through this guys work. Click through….

One day I hope to possibly own a second home on a large piece of property, as a get away place. It would be awesome if it were in another country.
Anyway, here is a beautiful getaway home in Indiana near Lake Michigan, designed by Brininstool + Lynch

I was going to post this yesterday, but ran out of time.  I follow Paul through Flickr, and this popped up on my contact’s submissions yesterday.
Enor Moose (ha, get it).  Great illustration, and complete store soon to follow.  Click through the rest of their work too.  Paul’s work never disappoints.

Really awesome poster for the IDSA Midwest Conference.  CNC routed out of yellow foam (polyurethane), the choice material for ID models.

MIO to release a line of “Green” products at Target for Earth Day.  They have been an exciting company to watch, and I’m glad they are finally getting some great exposure.  The items will only be available for a short time.
