Everything All The Time

About

Multidisciplinary Inspiration

With so many great categories of design, it is hard to just focus on one. Which is why this blog will focus on a little bit of everything: architecture, furniture, product design, illustration, various artists, etc. Curated by Brian Everett of EVRT Studio in Kansas City

Tim Lewis Studio
Tim has some fantastic furniture creations, along with lighting and some more experimental work. I’m a sucker for basic materials and processes (that is Industrial Design geek speak) so these two pieces above caught my eye. Not to mention the Mid Century vibe they give. Click through to visit Tim’s studio.

Vino Italiano by Ty Wilkins
I love this idea. Ty has some imaginative work, and some great animal illustrations also.

Log by Patricia Urquiola
If you have any interest in furniture design and don’t know whom Patricia is at this point, you must be living in a cave. She is pretty much on top of the world. I love this new sofa from her: it combines a little bit of traditional styling and functionality but would fit in any minimal modern home as well.

Spektrum Poster by Martijn van Dam (Super Silo)
This poster is pure awesome. Even better, Martijn has a video capture of the work in progress here. But be warned, it moves fast and might give you a headache.
The rest of Martijn’s work can be found by clicking the image.

Between Folds by Francisca Prieto
Francisca has an amazing sense of detail. The Between Folds series is constructed of cut and folded envelopes. By using 100’s of different envelopes, she gets a subtle variation in color, which makes these wall hanging even more special.
And if you are a typography fan, you really owe a glance through her personal site at some of her other work.
