Multidisciplinary Inspiration

With so many great categories of design, it is hard to just focus on one. Which is why this blog will focus on a little bit of everything: architecture, furniture, product design, illustration, various artists, etc. Curated by Brian Everett of EVRT Studio in Kansas City

We made a quick trip out of town this past weekend to Rocheport & Boonville, MO. It was nice to get away, and enjoy the last bit of fall leaves. Rocheport is tiny, but holds tons of character. And Boonville’s downtown is pretty impressive really. Anyway, I thought I would share some photos of some vintage finds from a store in Rocheport.

Why I didn’t buy this little soap box, I will never know. I majorly regret it.

Great title, love the cover. There was an interesting version of Don Quixote next to it.

Love the old illustrations on these Hat boxes.

I don’t know what Plug Slice is, but that little Tin is awesome! I also regret not buying some vintage maps from Canada, Indiana, Minnesota, etc…

» Newer, Better EVRT Store...

I’m not selling crap on Etsy. (Although, thank you very much to you 3 that bought prints. I really appreciate it)

I think it is because there are so many people on there doing the same thing, and you really have to make a name for yourself to draw people in. I also don’t rotate my items for sale enough.

Anyway, I’m moving to my own personalized store, but for now I can only have 5 items listed at a time to take advantage of the free version. If I start selling more, I will move to the customized version with a monthly fee.

I’m starting with selling some really inexpensive 4” x 6” prints I have lying around, so stop by the shop if you are interested. There will only be one for sale of each print, so the photos will hopefully rotate out as they sell. In other words, stop by often to see different prints for sale.

Thanks
