Alexander Girard Nativity Set from House Industries

“Alexander Girard amassed a huge collection of nativities, most of which he spent the last years of his life curating for his wing at the International Museum of Folk Art in Santa Fe. Alex Cornell made this really great desktop wallpaper for Kitsune Noir. If you are not familiar with his work, he is a Graphic Design student in San Francisco, and a collaborative blogger for ISO50. He also created the Hypothetical Wes Anderson film that circled the blogosphere recently, and has a tumblr blog.

Really fantastic icons, designed by Eight Hour Day for Target’s HR department. A great article to read as well, about the scaling back of Target’s outreach towards using outside design studios for their product, and bringing it more in-house.
