Everything All The Time

About

Multidisciplinary Inspiration

With so many great categories of design, it is hard to just focus on one. Which is why this blog will focus on a little bit of everything: architecture, furniture, product design, illustration, various artists, etc. Curated by Brian Everett of EVRT Studio in Kansas City

Michael Schwab
Chances are if you are interested in graphic design, you have probably heard of or at least seen some of Schwab’s work. I had seen the Muir Woods poster design for years not knowing who had designed it. I can’t say there are many of his designs that I don’t like. They are very simple, straight to the point, and a few amount of colors with a lot of black.
You absolutely should click through to his website, or you can read a great little interview with him on his success stories here.

The Chop Shop branding by PTARMAK
Wow.. check out this stunning branding & identity for a new meat market opening in downtown Kansas City. I will definitely be checking this out, once it opens up on January 20th. Their future website is www.chopshop.com but is not up and running yet. Click through to see more images of the brand identity.

An Apple A Day Poster by Vik
This is a fantastic idea! Peel the sticker off of your apple and place it on the poster. Helps keep you motivated to eat an apple everyday, and the results are pretty cool with all of the various sticker colors. 18” x 23” print for $24

Vino Italiano by Ty Wilkins
I love this idea. Ty has some imaginative work, and some great animal illustrations also.

Alexander Girard Nativity Set from House Industries
“Alexander Girard amassed a huge collection of nativities, most of which he spent the last years of his life curating for his wing at the International Museum of Folk Art in Santa Fe. We thought it would be an appropriate homage to create a completely new nativity that is based on a Girard illustration that hangs in his son’s house.”
$410

I love old magazine covers like these. Especially being a hunter & fisher.

matthewb:

Albert Exergian created this great set of minimalist film and television posters as a personal project. You’ll find these and many more on his blog, and his commercial portfolio is equally impressive (and much more ornate).

Reblogged from Matthew Buchanan.

Dymaxion Map by Michael Paukner
A recreation of Bucky Fuller’s Dymaxion Map. I think this is great, but I would have loved to have seen a different take on it, rather than a direct recreation in a different style. Michael’s work is still very impressive, and you should glance through his site

Alex Cornell made this really great desktop wallpaper for Kitsune Noir. If you are not familiar with his work, he is a Graphic Design student in San Francisco, and a collaborative blogger for ISO50. He also created the Hypothetical Wes Anderson film that circled the blogosphere recently, and has a tumblr blog.
