Everything All The Time

About

With so many great categories of design, it is hard to just focus on one. Which is why this blog will focus on a little bit of everything: architecture, furniture, product design, illustration, various artists, etc. Curated by Brian Everett of EVRT Studio in Kansas City

Also check out the EVRT Studio newsfeed and visual stream on Tumblr.

Vino Italiano by Ty Wilkins
I love this idea. Ty has some imaginative work, and some great animal illustrations also.

Coming Soon: New prints for sale!
I’ve been working on some new prints to sell in my shop, which will be 12” x 18” posters printed on French Paper. Here is a sneak peek at the first one. It isn’t quite finished yet; just a few more details to add. Hopefully the finished print will be up in the shop later next week. There is a second print that will closely follow.
(left is full print: right is a detail)

I know I said I wouldn’t post my own work here anymore, but I’m breaking the rules :) Guilty as charged…..

Michael’s work has been circling the internet lately, which is a good thing for him. I love the idea behind this image.

Spektrum Poster by Martijn van Dam (Super Silo)
This poster is pure awesome. Even better, Martijn has a video capture of the work in progress here. But be warned, it moves fast and might give you a headache.
The rest of Martijn’s work can be found by clicking the image.

Albert Exergian created this great set of minimalist film and television posters as a personal project. You’ll find these and many more on his blog, and his commercial portfolio is equally impressive (and much more ornate).

Dymaxion Map by Michael Paukner
A recreation of Bucky Fuller’s Dymaxion Map. I think this is great, but I would have loved to have seen a different take on it, rather than a direct recreation in a different style. Michael’s work is still very impressive, and you should glance through his site

Charlie Harper’s Illustrated Life is a book I need to own at some point in time. If this book has been on your wish list for a while, you will be happy to know there is now a smaller version available for a fraction of the cost. Still a hard cover. Still including all the same pages. I’ll hold out until I can see myself splurging for the larger version, but it is nice they are offering it. Get it from Amazon for $33….

An illustration by Eyvind Earle for a Motorola Ad taken from the Illustration Today textbook, 1963.
Eyvind was a designer, illustrator, and painter. He is probably most famous for his background paintings that were used for Disney’s “Sleeping Beauty” and “Lady And The Tramp.” I really love this ad above. You can see a high res version here.
