Today is officially observed as Constitution Day. If you do not know what that means, then I suggest you take a little time out from blogging, and probably brush up on your history. Whether you are involved in politics or not, at the very least everyone should have some sort of basic understanding of how our government works.

I don’t normally post about politics, but this is a great article with great writing, so I could not pass it up.
“Following the Republican Party of late has been a movingly depressing experience, sort of like watching Old Yeller die — if Old Yeller were a worm-infested feral bitch who spent the past eight years biting children at bus stops and shitting in neighborhood swimming pools. I literally spent about 3 hours last night debating online with some McCain followers about the almost cancelled debate. I made some good points (at least I like to believe that) and mostly the only thing they could respond with was “Obama is an empty shell” or cite some very biased small time writers opinion. Anyway, I have one conclusion…..
God, please give me my 3 hours back…. seriously
