Everything All The Time

Multidisciplinary Inspiration

With so many great categories of design, it is hard to just focus on one. Which is why this blog will focus on a little bit of everything: architecture, furniture, product design, illustration, various artists, etc. Curated by Brian Everett of EVRT Studio in Kansas City

Today is officially observed as Constitution Day. If you do not know what that means, then I suggest you take a little time out from blogging, and probably brush up on your history. Whether you are involved in politics or not, at the very least everyone should have some sort of basic understanding of how our government works.

» The Class Clowns

I don’t normally post about politics, but this is a great article with great writing, so I could not pass it up.

“Following the Republican Party of late has been a movingly depressing experience, sort of like watching Old Yeller die — if Old Yeller were a worm-infested feral bitch who spent the past eight years biting children at bus stops and shitting in neighborhood swimming pools. As a useful force in American politics, the Republicans have been dead for a while now. But in the seven months since Sarah Palin’s nomination, they have taken on an intriguing new role: providing much-needed comic relief during dark times, serving as the unofficial rodeo clowns of the Financial Crisis Era.”

Honestly, I’m pretty sick of hearing about the presidential race at this point in time, and just ready for the whole thing to be over.  But I thought this was too funny to pass up.  Best electoral map I have seen yet…..

I had not seen either of these poster designs yet, and they might be my favorite out of all of them.

Debate

I literally spent about 3 hours last night debating online with some McCain followers about the almost cancelled debate.  I made some good points (at least I like to believe that) and mostly the only thing they could respond with was “Obama is an empty shell” or cite some very biased small time writers opinion.  Anyway, I have one conclusion…..

God, please give me my 3 hours back….  seriously
