Before there were ipods and ipod docks, there was this. Personally, this is much cooler in my opinion.

**Don’t get me wrong, I love my ipod. But it seems people are ready to trade theirs in after a couple years for a newer one. This radio has been around for 50 years is a collectable. I think people valued items like this more than we will ever love our ipods.

I know nothing of the “Jersey Meadows” which apparently is / was marsh lands in Jersey, but this was the idea to make use of that land. Retro illustrations and architectural renderings as such really fascinate me. Why is it we haven’t actually built a city yet that looks like this? How awesome would that be? Very Sim City, and colorful.
